Seminars
SCAD Photography Summer Seminar
As apart of my Scholastic Art prize, I was given the opportunity to participate in SCAD's Summer Seminars. In Atlanta, I took a 2 weeks class with several professional photography teachers. We were able to use SCAD's equipment such as their professional lights and lenses. And with this class, I became proficient in Lightroom and Photoshop.

Visualizing a Year Like No Other
I am a part of Michigan State's Visualising a Year like No Other' photo project. We meeting every Wednesday, and are creating photo exhibitions that reflect on the pandemic. Every week, we have a prompt and the students create a response with only three photos. Some of our have been self-portrait, reflection, and focus. At the end of the 12 weeks, our photos will be on display at Michigan State’s Broad Building.

CCS Street Photography Camp
In CCS Street Photography Camp, I got to work closely with a professional street photographer to capture the city of Detriot. We spent each day traveling to a different part of the city - the farmer's Market, downtown, in the arts district. As the days went on, I became much more confident. I am naturally shy, so asking strangers to take photos was very hard. But as time went on, the teachers helped me to open up and it became much easier to get over that social anxiety.
